A large group of elephants wander along the river on their way back into the balsam tree forest. Throughout the night the herds have visited, drinking, splashing and cavorting. In the morning the river is once more quiet, with just footprints carpeting the waters edge, a testimony to the hundreds of elephants that have passed by in the preceding hours of darkness
